Order taken from Lord Dartmouth’s minute book relating to the destruction of the garrison at Tangiers, 18 December 1683

This order is from Dartmouth to the field officers and Surveyor General on Tangiers, giving instructions concerning the use of mines; the employment of qualified men; and the need to destroy the garrison so that the fortifications cannot be used subsequently by the Moores.
