Letter from Jervis to his brother explaining the consequences of the Battle of the Nile, 1 August 1798, wishing that `the Republicans’ in North Europe could be stopped and peace could be had, 13 December 1798

Jervis also comments on his brother’s management of the Meaford estate and the `salutary’ nature of the water in Burton upon Trent.
