The Greenfield colliery of Wm. Adams & Sons. This is a classic example of a colliery within the confines of a pottery specifically to fire the pottery ovens. This colliery fell victim to the stoppage of Heath’s Brownhills pump on 1 February 1902 and itself closed on 21 August of the same year.
