The Co-Op, whose motto in those days was "buy at your own shop and employ your own capital", delivers coal in Sant Street, Dalehall, by shire horse in full working gear and four wheeled dray. The church at the top of the street is St. Paul’s, now demolished. Of interest is the type of brick with which the pavement is laid.
